Kelly Finley

Kelly is the Lead School Counselor and the Counseling Department’s Building Leader. Kelly is a closet Texan, receiving two Bachelor degrees from the University of North Texas and a Masters degree in School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She has lived and worked in Summit County since 2012. Kelly enjoys camping and visiting National Parks, rainbows, unicorns and Dr. Pepper.

A Vermonter at heart, Molly has lived and worked in Summit County since 2009. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Bilingual Education from Boston University, Molly spent over a decade working in high school dropout prevention and college access programs, starting the Summit Pre-Collegiate program. With a Masters degree in School Counseling from Adams State, she made the transition to the SHS counseling office in the fall of 2021. Molly is excited to work with all Summit students and our community on proactive mental health, community building, academic success, and postsecondary planning. 

 

Robby Johnson

Robby moved to Summit County in 2012 from Atlanta, Georgia.  He fell in love with SHS and Summit County working as a campus supervisor while completing graduate school. He is a licensed school counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling from Adams State University. Before his return to SHS in 2021, he worked as a school counselor in Leadville, CO and East Flat Rock, NC. Robby enjoys snowboarding, hiking, biking, live music, travel, sugary treats, and everything about the Georgia Bulldogs.

Born and raised in Chicago, Rich moved to Colorado in 1989 to attend CU Boulder. After college Rich moved to Telluride for some professional development in snowboarding and ski town living. Rich discovered his love for working with kids and counseling by working in wilderness therapy in the Capital Reef area of Utah.  After earning a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Denver University, Rich started working as a school counselor. Rich loves his job as a counselor and loves working with the students of Summit High School!
 

Anna Howden

Anna is a licensed school psychologist. She is originally from a Western suburb of Chicago, IL and has lived in Summit County since 2009 enjoying skiing, biking, and most things outdoors. Anna has an EdS degree in Child, Family, and School Psychology from The University of Denver and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development from the University of Illinois. Anna is thrilled to be coordinating our peer led Sources of Strength program and is amazed by all the ways our students are being inclusive and spreading messages of hope, help, and strength while proactively engaging in suicide, violence, and substance abuse prevention.

Neta is a born and raised Summit County local who graduated from Summit High School in 2001. After receiving her BA in Communication and Anthropology from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Neta returned to Summit County and started working at SHS in the fall of 2013.  Please contact her for any transcript requests or enrollment questions.
